World Bank surveys Iraqi public opinion on economic recovery

The World Bank conducted a national survey of Iraqi households' views on economic conditions, stability, and development priorities in 2025. This is a measurement tool — a baseline of what ordinary Iraqis actually think about their material circumstances and future prospects, gathered directly rather than inferred from GDP or political statements.

Iraq's reconstruction depends partly on whether ordinary people believe conditions are improving; this survey creates a concrete measurement of that belief (or lack of it) that can be tracked over time to see if development programs are actually changing how people experience their lives.
