US environmental regulators give companies two more months to report emissions

The US environmental regulators extended the deadline for companies to report their 2024 greenhouse gas emissions. Companies now have until May 30, 2025, instead of March 31, 2025, to submit their data.

This change gives companies more time to compile their emissions data for 2024. It does not change what they have to report, or the deadlines for future years. This is a small administrative adjustment, not a shift in reporting requirements.
