What happened
A new technical method allows AI agents to be copied and launched almost instantly, instead of being rebuilt from scratch every time. This means AI agents can be used more widely and cheaply, similar to how software programs are run today.
Why it matters
Until now, every time an AI agent was needed, it had to be fully reassembled, which took time and a lot of computing power. This new approach changes that fundamental cost. It means AI agents can be treated more like lightweight software components, making it much easier and cheaper to deploy many of them for different tasks.
