Airbus A350s can no longer use older flight control software

The US aviation regulator is forcing Airbus A350 airplanes to install new flight control software. This update fixes a safety problem the manufacturer found.

Airplanes are complex machines, and sometimes the manufacturer finds a flaw after they are already flying. When that happens, regulators step in to make sure the fix is applied across the fleet.
