Countries can now copy-paste carbon market laws from the World Bank

The World Bank published a new guide for countries that want to write carbon market laws. It gives them sample laws and advice to make it easier to set up "high-integrity" carbon credit systems.

Many countries want to sell carbon credits but lack the laws to do it. This toolkit gives them a starting point. But it is just a template; countries still have to pass and enforce the laws themselves.
